Fees and Rebates

Fees per Session

The cost of treatment sessions is $170 per session, which is lower than that recommended by the Australian Psychological Society. Fees are payable at the time of consultation. Accepted forms of payment include cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, and Bankcard. 

You do not need a referral for an appointment (unless you are coming under the Medicare scheme) - so just call Indi about appointment times.

Medicare Rebate

Medicare covers $115 per one-hour session for a maximum of 12 sessions per calendar year if you have a Medicare referral (Mental Health Care Plan) from your local doctor. This means you are only paying $55 per session for professional assistance. Please feel free to call Indi if you require more information about Medicare rebates.

Private Health Insurance

Many private health funds now offer rebates for psychological services. Indi is a registered provider with most of the major health care funds such as Australian Unity, MBF, NIB, HCF, NRMA, and Medibank Private. Please check with your health fund to see if you are able to claim for psychological services.

Fees for a Report

The cost of a report varies depending on the time it takes to prepare, it ranges from $330 to $550 including GST
